Here are answers to some common questions.
What types of addiction does your facility treat?
We specialize in treating substance use disorders and mental health disorders. Additionally, we address behavioral addictions, including gambling disorder, sex and love addiction, work addiction, internet/gaming addiction, and shopping addiction (available through private pay).
How long are your typical treatment programs?
Expect 5-10 days for detox portion of our treatment and 30-45 days for the residential portion of our treatment.
Do you accept insurance, and if so, which providers?
We accept all major insurance carriers, Anthem, Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, etc. We do not accept MediCal.
Do you accept patients from out of state?
Yes.
What is the admissions process like?
The initial step in our admissions process involves a phone call with our Admissions Coordinator. This conversation aims to establish a rapport, provide insight into our program, and gather essential information regarding the motivation for seeking treatment at this time. Following this, a thorough pre-screening assessment will be conducted, during which the Coordinator will seek info about history of substance use, any mental health concerns, potential risk factors, current medications, health issues, and social support and living situation.
Can family members visit during treatment?
Yes, family members are encouraged to participate in treatment. CDRC offers comprehensive family services, including therapy sessions, resources, and referral management to support family involvement.
What amenities and accommodations do you offer?
Private or semi-private rooms with cozy bedding. On-site laundry (full service). Housekeeping services. Warm, homey decor (vs. hospital-style settings). Chef-prepared meals. Special dietary accommodations (vegan, gluten-free, diabetic, etc.). Coffee/tea stations, snacks available throughout the day. Nutritionist consultations available upon request. IV Nutrition (NAD Therapy, Vitamin Supplementation, etc). Yoga, meditation, or mindfulness sessions. Gym access. Massage therapy or acupuncture available upon request. Wellness coaching. Art therapy, music therapy, or expressive journaling. Gardening or horticulture therapy. Equine-assisted therapy. Cold plunges. Drama or movement-based therapy. Scheduled or supervised cell phone/computer access. Access to Zoom for legal or family meetings. TVs in rooms or community spaces (full access to streaming services). Do you provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT)?
Yes.

Do you offer dual diagnosis treatment for co-occurring mental health conditions?
Yes.
What happens after the program ends? Do you offer aftercare support?
Upon completion of the program, our clinicians will collaborate with your loved one to develop a personalized aftercare plan tailored to their strengths and needs. We provide aftercare coordination, private therapy appointments, and sober living accommodations, with options that can be customized for each individual.
Is your facility licensed and accredited?
Our facility is licensed by the Department of Health Care Services. (Soon to be accredited with Joint Commission).
What is the staff-to-client ratio?
Our staff to client ratio is 2-3 staff members per client.
Are there private rooms available or is all accommodation shared?
We have private rooms and shared rooms available.
How do you handle withdrawal symptoms during detox?
During detox, residents receive individualized treatment plans developed by our Medical and Psychiatric teams. Nursing staff regularly monitor vital signs and assess for potential complications, including seizures and hallucinations. Withdrawal protocols are adaptively managed based on the individual's response.
What makes your center different from other rehabilitation facilities?
Our center stands out through its commitment to whole-person healing and client-centered care across all programs. Each department is managed by qualified Physicians, Psychologists, and licensed professionals, ensuring that our integrated programs address clients' comprehensive needs. We provide customized experiences tailored to each individual, and our aftercare programming is designed to be as effective and essential as our Detox and Residential services.
Do you offer specialized programs for specific demographics (veterans, executives, etc.)?
We currently offer specialized tracks that are population-specific our clinicians are experienced in treating a wide variety of cultures, occupations, and demographics:
What should my loved one bring for the stay?
For the stay, please bring a suitcase with 7-10 days of comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing, toiletries (preferably unopened), and several pairs of shoes. Essential items include your wallet, photo ID, insurance card, and current medications. Additional helpful items may include a journal, photos of loved ones, books, and stamps/envelopes. We advise leaving valuables at home.
What is your success rate, and how do you measure outcomes?
We measure outcomes through Client Satisfaction Surveys, alumni interviews, and internal studies.
